The Pixies continue to be a huge influence on some of the biggest artists in the world today. Based around rare footage of their first gig in London in 1988 (much of it shown for the first time on British TV), this documentary looks at how the US four-piece re-defined rock music in the '90s. The programme includes interviews with the band themselves and, among others, David Bowie, U2, Radiohead, PJ Harvey, Badly Drawn Boy and Blur.

A stetson-clad Harvey performed X's 'Johnny Hit And Run Pauline' with old touring partners Giant Sand, as well as Sparklehorse classics 'Homecoming Queen'and 'Eyepennies' with Mark Linkous. She also appeared as part of her regular guitarist John Parish's 10-piece band, singing one song ('Pretty Baby') and contributing guitar.
